We know that many of you have questions about the COVID-19 pandemic and how it affects you at the Kite Research Institute. This page is dedicated to directing you to resources at UHN that may address some of your concerns and provide a space to submit questions of your own.

Please remember that IPAC is providing regular updates on a dedicated COVID-19 Intranet site and on uhn.ca/covid19. To access the Intranet remotely, use this link. Additional research-specific communications will be posted on the research intranet. UHN is also providing updates to the public on uhn.ca/covid19.


Remember to wash your hands:

  • When entering or leaving the hospital and clinical areas
  • Before eating or drinking
  • After using the washroom
  • If your hands become visibly dirty

Toronto Public Health COVID-19 Hotline

If you have general questions about COVID-19 (coronavirus), or worry that you may have been exposed and aren’t sure what to do, please call the Toronto Public Health hotline. Information is available in multiple languages.

UHN has implemented screening of all patients, visitors and staff at the doors of UHN sites. Staff are expected to self-screen prior to coming to work, stay at home if you are sick, and have UHN ID at all times. Please be advised of the following Toronto Rehab entrance information:

  • University Centre – Elm Street entrance open. University Avenue will be closed
  • Bickle Centre – main entrance open. All other entrances closed.
  • Lyndhurst Centre – main entrance open. All other entrances closed.
  • Rumsey Centre – main entrances open. All other entrances closed.
