The Kite Clinics are a consolidated program that has incorporated three of the existing innovations clinics at Toronto Rehab under one umbrella (MIC, Rocket South, Rocket North). This consolidated program operates across two sites Lyndhurst and University Centre (UC and LC) and offers services to individuals presenting with neurological deficits. The consolidated rehab program offers therapeutic services for a holistic neurological program. Within the KITE Clinics are two of KITE Research Institutes Labs: The Upper Extremity NeuroRestorative and Innovations Lab and the Mobility Innovations Centre.
Our vision is to provide innovative therapy that optimizes outcomes related to function and participation for people with neurological deficits through a sustainable model of care that integrates the clinical and research setting, and fosters research, knowledge translation and capacity-building among the rehabilitation community.
Our Mission is to implement a concept where innovative neuro-rehabilitation and research is made possible to individuals with neurological deficits. A clinical setting where meaningful partnerships will help change the way we think, develop, and deliver neuro-rehabilitation services. To create effective collaborations between therapist, patients, carers, researchers, and industry partners. In addition to implementing excellent care, we work towards translating discovery into practice. Ultimately, our mission is to lead patients to enhance their activities of life by improving their access to cutting-edge neuro-rehabilitation.
We assess and treat individuals who have a neurological condition that has resulted in changes in mobility and/or upper extremity function. We treat all neurological conditions at any stage of recovery.
If you are unable to access services at the Rocket Family Upper Extremity in person we are pleased to announce that we are providing services using Tele-Rehab.
Services provided with tele-rehab include:
Tele-Rehab Fee: $100/hour
RATES: All treatments and assessments will be offered at a rate of $120.00/hour. Some therapies will have an additional charge to the hourly rate.
