The “Focus on Accessibility Awards” recognizes one Post-Doctoral Fellow, two Doctoral and two Masters’ students whose projects best contribute to achieving one or more of the four themes of accessibility – dignity, respect, integration, equal opportunity in their field and/or community. Nominees must have a supervisor affiliated with the Kite Research Institute of Toronto Rehab, University Health Network (KITE). This award is the result of a partnership between the Government of Ontario and the Kite Research Institute of Toronto Rehab, University Health Network and will be presented at ICAIR (the International Conference on Aging, Innovation and Rehabilitation) on May 25, 2020. ICAIR is being held at the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto and is hosted jointly by the KITE Research Institute at the University Health Network (UHN) and the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI) at the University of Toronto; it will have significant input and participation from other clinical, and research institutions and hospitals.
