Rehabilitation Day

The city of Toronto recently proclaimed September 17, 2019 as Rehabilitation Day.

From 10 to 11 a.m., in the Toronto Rehab University Centre lobby, we are celebrating the incredible work of our staff, scientists and clinicians who dedicate their lives to rehabilitation excellence and help patients achieve a higher quality of life.

During RehabWeek in Toronto this year, one of the largest rehabilitation conferences in the world, we asked folks from around the rehabilitation community what “rehab” means to them. Hope, freedom, inspiration, growth, recovery and perseverance were only a few of the many empowering responses.

Now we ask, what does rehabilitation mean to you? Help spread the word by sharing your response using the hashtags #RehabilitationDay and #WeDoRehabilitation and come celebrate with us on September 17.
