Abstract

En-AGE (Enabling Ageing, Growth and Engagement) was developed through a unique partnership with AGE-WELL and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists that brings together academics, practitioners and end-users. En-AGE is a knowledge portal designed to increase public awareness about the ways that occupational therapists can support older adults as they navigate challenges related to later life course transitions. As a knowledge mobilization initiative, En-AGE synthesizes and re-packages evidence-based knowledge, “translates” knowledge for older adults, their caregivers and occupational therapists through storytelling and incorporates feedback from stakeholders to refine the ongoing development of the website. Join us to take an inside look into the process of developing the partnership and website, and to hear about lessons learned, our launch plans, and future directions.
