Dr. Beschorner is a Professor of Bioengineering and the Associate Chair for Graduate Education at the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He directs the Human Movement and Balance Laboratory, an interdisciplinary research group focused on applying principles of mechanics, human physiology, and ergonomics to prevent injuries, with a particular emphasis on footwear-related research.
