Abstract

In this lecture, Greg Noack, traumatic brain injury survivor, will discuss the importance of building rapport with the brain injury patients we support.

Biography

Greg Noack is a brain injury survivor of an assault that took place in November, 1996. He has been volunteering and working with fellow persons with a brain injury in some capacity since 6 months after his injury. Currently he works at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute as a Rehabilitation Therapist with the brain injury population and for the past 8 years has been working in research with Dr. Robin Green’s Brain Discovery and Recovery team. In 2006 he had his book published: ‘My Invisible Disability’, recounts his rehabilitation from the  brain injury he sustained.
